An evaluation of the program studied 46 preschoolers (average age, 59.8 months) from differing race, sex, and income groups and assessed their antivictimization knowledge up to 6.5 weeks posttest. Results showed that those who had received the program scored significantly higher that those who had not. There were no significant main effects for race, sex, or income level, but low-income and male subjects tended to learn more due to low prior knowledge than their female and middle-income counterparts. Follow-up testing demonstrated retention of learned concepts. Table and 17 references (Author abstract modified)
