Abstract
The grants concern aging population characteristics and needs, Alzheimer's disease, community-based care systems, elder abuse, employment and income security, health care, health promotion and education, housing, legal services, protective services, in-home services, and alcohol abuse. The grants also focus on the management of aging programs, informal caregiving, preparation for aging, quality assurance, supportive services, the National Leadership Institute on Aging, the National Aging Resource Center, career preparation for professionals and paraprofessionals, and academic institutions and training programs.
