This survey form was sent to criminal justice agencies throughout Colorado in October 1990 as a followup to a drug abuse needs assessment done in 1987 by the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice.
Abstract
The survey requests information about each agency's current resources to combat the drug problem, changes that have occurred during the past three years, perceptions of the drug problem locally and in the State as a whole, and informed preferences with respect to a focus for a statewide antidrug strategy. The survey form incorporates specific segments for law enforcement, prosecution, adjudication, parole, probation, and community corrections agencies. The drugs of interest in the form are alcohol, marijuana, hashish, cocaine, hallucinogens, opiates, stimulants, and depressants.
