Abstract
The volume also presents articles on several specific aspects of urban crime. Individual sections discuss the study of delinquency in urban areas and outline the structure of the Stockholm project and the data it considers. Additional papers describe the background and basic assumptions of the component projects of the overall effort. Further papers consider the roles of the family and the school environment in causing juvenile delinquency in different types of residential environments and discuss female delinquency in urban areas. Other papers discuss the work of the social welfare agencies and the police with respect to juvenile delinquency prevention. Figures, chapter reference lists, and appended methodological information
