Abstract

Background on development of the program is provided, and screening and intake procedures are described. Following assessment, screening, and disposition, the intervention process begins. Program services are tailored to meet individual needs, and three levels of supervision intensity are offered. The author identifies key collaborators in establishing the program. Information is also provided on the planned evaluation of the DIRECT program as well as possible future directions.
