This article discusses tends in the cocaine supply and cocaine use in Spain during 1984-89 and uses data from the State information system for drug abuse.
Abstract
Data were gathered through individual interviews and from police sources. Results indicated that cocaine abuse increased among certain groups, primarily heroin users, during the period studied. However, until now the serious consequences and the use of medical facilities almost always relate to heroin abuse and rarely relate to cocaine abuse.
