Results are reported for two experiments: a test of five pair of standard adhesive tapes with fingerprints and a test of two paired sets of cellulose and masking tape with inked fingerprint impressions. It was learned that under ideal conditions, the use of a hot air blower may help to separate adhesive tapes and allow a more efficient lifting from cardboard surfaces. The procedure, which requires considerable patience, produces a flat tape surface which can be examined for evidence.
