These two volumes (II and III) present data on Indiana court operations for 1990.
Abstract
Volume II presents caseload and fiscal information for every court in Indiana, with subtotals for each county. This includes data on the number and type of cases filed, disposed, and pending in each court. Data also address the amount of funds expended for the operation of each court and the amounts generated through court operations. A roster of the number and type of court employees in each court is also presented. Volume III contains data that further define the trial court caseloads reported in Volume II. This information includes individual court data on the type of case disposition, i.e., jury trials, bench, dismissed, guilty pleas/admissions/default, and Violations Bureau/closed. Volume III also contains tables on the number and type of cases venued into and out of each court. Case-type categories are criminal felony, criminal misdemeanor, redocketed criminal, miscellaneous criminal, infractions, all ordinance violations, juvenile children in need of supervision, juvenile delinquency, juvenile status offense, juvenile paternity, juvenile miscellaneous, and redocketed juvenile. Civil cases include civil plenary, civil tort, small claims, redocketed civil, domestic relations, redocketed domestic relations, mental health, adoptions, estates, guardianships, trusts, and miscellaneous. Volume I contains statewide totals, a discussion of the reported item, and a description of the judicial system.
