This Spanish-language thesaurus of criminal justice terminology brings together terms used in the criminal justice systems of Latin American and Caribbean countries.
Abstract
This thesaurus constitutes a merging of the Criminology Thesaurus and the Criminal Law Thesaurus of 1983 and 1985, respectively, and contains the most important descriptors in both areas. The terms are numbered hierarchically and are displayed in two ways. The first, alphabetical listing, shows all the relationships between broad and narrow terms, and the second listing is an index showing keywords in context. The volume also contains a schematic of the major areas of coverage: criminology, corrections, victims, law, medicine, delinquents, delinquency, criminal law, philosophy, and deviant conduct.
