This directory lists programs for runaways, homeless youth, and missing children on a state-by-state basis.
Abstract
The entries list the program address and telephone number, names of the executive and program directors, a brief description of the services offered, intake policies, operating funds, fees, number of youth served annually, and number of youth turned away. The directory also contains several youth worker training articles on relevant subjects including alcohol and drug use by runaway and homeless youth, street youth and HIV, the situation of street children in other countries, how to determine the legitimacy of missing and exploited children's organizations, and Operation Home Free (a program to return runaway children to their families).
