In preparing the case for decision, the case worker must prepare progress summaries, obtain community information, understand the detention process, and prepare the parole eligibility report for judicial review. The manual discusses National Parole Board decisions and releases focusing on risk assessment, parole hearings, decision notification, and release procedures.
