Detailed statistics are given for the sex, race, and age of juveniles confined or on parole and for the county of admission, reason for admission, grade level, religious preference, and length of stay. Data are also provided on reason for commitment, parole admissions, release types, and parole violations. Reasons for commitment included in the statistics are arson, assault, auto theft, bad checks, burglary, concealed weapon, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, drug distribution, driving while intoxicated, escape, false information, forgery, drug possession, probation or parole violation, robbery, sexual assault, and theft.
