The inmate population is given for an average daily population, rated capacity by month, female inmate population, and racial and Hispanic groups. The distribution of offenses, violent crime convictions, age sentencing authority, and race is also provided. Admissions to prisons are categorized by month and type of admission, type and county of conviction, age at admission with race and sex data as well as Hispanic origin and sex data. Data on admission is also tabulated by county and race, county and Hispanic origin, type and sentencing authority, offenses, and type of admission by month by sex. Releases from prison are grouped by the type of release and month, race and Hispanic origin and type of release, length of stay by category of admission, and by offenses as well as all releases by sentencing authority and release by month and sex. 23 tables
