Abstract
The manual provides information on impurities, adulterants/dilutents, and other compounds known to be found in the final clandestine drug products as well as useful references to the appropriate literature on methods for their identification and analysis. An introductory section reviews the development and proliferation of clandestine laboratories and emphasizes the need for national narcotic laboratories to assume more responsibility in their support of law enforcement authorities. 14 references and 4 tables
