Police power and limitations are discussed in terms of police responsibility, the Bill of Rights, due process of law, expanded scope of the fourteenth amendment due process clause, and State constitutional protections of rights. The subsequent sections discuss specific details of the common constitutional questions that confront law enforcement officers.
