The section on skills development focuses on work with criminal justice agencies, stress management for caregivers, effective public speaking and group facilitation, cross-cultural service delivery, and victim services as a profession. The section on program development includes a discussion of the expansion of the reach of victim services to schools, hospitals, and corrections and serving victims of bias crimes. The section on program management addresses the management of staff and volunteers, management of the media, the development and evaluation of training programs, and working with a board of directors.
