This report summarizes judiciary activity in New Mexico during 1991.
Abstract
The introductory section contains graphs depicting judicial system appropriations as well as an outline of State judiciary activity. The statutory authority and duties of the Administrative Office of the Courts are laid out as are its organizational structure and responsibilities. Management projects and continuing programs include the jury selection project, court automation, judicial personnel system, training and education, court accounting system, and internal audit. Separate sections cover the activities of the Supreme Court and the Board of Bar Examiners, the Court of Appeals, the district courts, the magistrates courts, and the Bernalillo County metropolitan court. Other judicial agencies discussed here include the Supreme Court law library, Supreme Court Building Commission, New Mexico Compilation Commission, Judicial Standards Commission, Board Governing the Recording of Judicial Proceedings, and the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court.
