This report describes the achievements of the Law Reform Commission of Victoria, Australia for 1991-92 and since 1986 and describes its planned projects for 1992-93.
Abstract
During the last 7 years the commission has achieved progress in improving efficiency and effectiveness through cost reductions, analyzing laws and regulations regarding scientific research, making recommendations regarding criminal offense definitions and sentencing, and examining and making recommendations on issues relating to individual human rights. The Commission completed work on eight reports, one discussion paper, and one position paper during 1991-92. Because of budget reductions, the Commission is reorganizing.
