The judges rated the entries to determine which constituted the most appealing, safe, and well-identified police vehicle design. It was apparent from many of the entries, which were accompanied by color photographs, that various departments are incorporating the goals of the agency into the look of their vehicles and using graphic designers to implement their officers' design concepts. This article briefly describes the winning entries in the various categories including municipal agency under 100 officers, municipal agency over 100 officers, Federal or State agency, and special purpose vehicle. Several photographs of the most innovative and creative entries were displayed in the article.
