The Central Bureau of Statistics presents findings from the Survey of Level of Living 1991 to provide an overview of both the most important aspects of the level of living of the Oslo population and any changes between 1980 and 1991 for a smaller sample of indicators of level of living for the total population and for several population groups.
Abstract
The final level of living sample of persons aged 16 years or older consists of 5,015 persons who were contacted for interview; non-respondents totaled 1,260 or 25.1 percent. Level of living questions addressed type of residence, family cycle, socioeconomic status, wages, employment/unemployment, physical working environment, organizational working conditions, care and housework, education, health, alcohol consumption and level of physical activity, disability, housing conditions, leisure activities, social relations, exposure to violence and threats to security, and aspects of level of living pertaining to children 0-15 years old. These level of living categories are specified in detail. 63 tables
