The first article analyzes the writing of several criminologists and the stages of the development of criminology. The second article presents the counterfeiting of banknotes and official documents (e.g., diplomas, licenses) as a new type of computer crime. The dramatic rise of Hungarian drug offenses is discussed in the third article, while the following article focuses on the civil rights of aliens. Next, the history of the overnight service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and of the police is reviewed. Two interviews focus on the condition and work of the Italian police, and budgetary issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs respectively. The eighth article publishes study results concerning the living and working conditions of Hungarian police officers. In the ninth article, new security systems to protect buildings against burglary are introduced. The following articles deal with such diverse topics as armored car robberies, the refugee problem in Hungary, changes in the Hungarian tax laws, a hit-and-run accident, and the investigation of a burglary gang. The final article reports on a friendly visit of 14 Hungarian police officers to France.
