This report presents statistics of the average daily inmate population in California for each quarter and the calendar year of 1991.
Abstract
The data cover correctional facilities, reception centers, camps, community-based facilities, and State hospitals. Data are also given for male and female felons, civil narcotic addicts, juvenile offenders in adult institutions, and others. The data reveal that an average of 100,750 inmates were in California adult correctional facilities during 1991. This total included 94,200 men and 6,550 women.
