The 1992 annual report of the European Network for Policewomen (ENP) outlines the organization's plans for the 1992-1997 period that encompass training and education, research, publicity, advice, and central services.
Abstract
The ENP believes that attention is increasingly being focused on the position of women in European police forces. It is working to support this trend by coordinating and giving advice on the activities of people and organizations that want a police force in which men and women work together as equals. The main objective of the ENP is to optimize the position of women in European police forces. The ENP's focus in 1992 was on training and education initiatives in Great Britain, Germany, the United States, and the Netherlands; public relations efforts, including a film, a newsletter, and police publications; visits to Great Britain, France, Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Germany; and the conduct of a conference on quality through equality. 1 figure
