The New Jersey Uniform Crime Report (UCR) for 1992 is based on the compilation, classification, and analysis of crime data by all New Jersey police agencies.
Abstract
Detailed statistical data are provided on a statewide basis and on violent crimes, nonviolent crimes, arrests, police officers killed and assaulted, index offenses, murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson. Statistics are also tabulated for State and county arrests for such crimes as manslaughter, simple assault, arson, forgery and counterfeiting, fraud, embezzlement, stolen property, criminal or malicious mischief, prostitution and commercialized vice, sex offenses, drug abuse violations, gambling, offenses against the family and children, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, vagrancy, curfew and loitering law violations, and runaways. Additional sections of the UCR include data on county offenses, crime levels in cities, demographic features of New Jersey, domestic violence, and bias incidents, along with an analysis of index offenses.
