The Senate Subcommittee on Children, Family, Drugs, and Alcohol held a hearing on missing children.
Abstract
The witnesses spoke to the progress made on the plight of missing children, and the involvement of businesses, corporations, and organizations in the search for missing children. Witnesses included Senators from Utah, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Iowa, and well as representatives from the American Gas Association, Quality Inns International, Mobil Oil Corporation, and Texize Corporation. Statements were also presented by the Attorney General of Connecticut, the director of the National Center on Missing and Exploited Children, the National Education Association, and the parents of missing child Adam Walsh, who founded the Adam Walsh Child Resource Centers.
