These reports are summarized here; the subjects include mental patients, criminal patients, and due process; civil cases before the Helsinki City Court during the 1980's; the effects of the reform of the Marriage Act on the number of divorces in Finland and the behavior of divorcing couples; and a study of decisions on summary debt recovery cases in Helsinki in 1980 and 1988. Other research topics include halfway houses and aftercare for released prisoners; changes in the level of theft; and summary payment orders.
