Each research summary provides the study title, report dates, funding sources, the researchers' names, study goals, study methodology, and study findings. Most of the research focuses on correctional and court issues. Among the correctional research topics are the selection of female offenders for an open correctional institution, inmate classification, the organization of hostels for released inmates, the organization of local prison facilities and conditions of serving prison terms, and the rehabilitation of juveniles. Among the topics of court research are a system analysis of the preliminary proceedings and criminal trial, the role of public prosecutor and defense lawyer in criminal proceedings with juveniles, and the individualization of punishment in the sentencing practice of Slovene courts.
