This study attempts to measure the extent to which women college students were forced to have sexual intercourse during their lives.
Abstract
Fifteen percent of this sample reported that they had been forced to have sex, 10 percent by their dates, and 8 percent while they were college students. The study indicates that almost all unwanted sexual encounters occur in apartments or cars, are committed by men with whom the women have at least casual relationships, and are preceded by behavior which causes sexual arousal.
