Abstract
The research has produced positive contributions to knowledge in three areas. First, much has been learned about improving the efficiency of the institutions of criminal justice. Second, research findings clearly suggest ways to achieve a level of fairness in the administration of justice thought unattainable only a decade ago. Third, research has indicated ways to reduce the cost of crime to the individual citizen. Research in fiscal year 1975 focused on community crime prevention, police, courts, corrections, advanced technology, program evaluation, and technology transfer. Photographs and appended project list, organizational chart, and lists of publications and advisory group members
