Other information on inmates in institutions and on work release covers the distribution of offenses, the distribution of violent-crime convictions, age distribution and average age, the distribution of sentencing authority, and the racial and Hispanic-origin distribution of resident female inmates. Data on admissions to prison are by month and type of admission, type and county of conviction, age at admission by race and sex and by Hispanic-origin and sex, by county and race, by type and sentencing authority, by offense and type of admission, and by month by sex.
