Abstract
The curriculum's goal is to help students recognize violations of general statutes, identify violations by their common crime names, and classify violations as either misdemeanors or felonies. It covers the following topics: attempt to commit a crime, conspiracy to commit a crime, solicitation to commit a crime, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, public nuisance, disturbing a public meeting, obstructing a sidewalk or street, and gaming violations. Each topic is accompanied by definitions, discussion points, performance objectives, and supporting materials. 14 references
