Services provided by the unit include pistol registration, licensing of concealed weapons, and maintenance of in-house files and records. Investigators can obtain general information from the unit including notification of any activity on a particular pistol, copies and certification of documents, and a Federal gun trace on any firearm. This document contains copies of forms, including application and license to purchase and acquire a pistol, safety inspection certificate, application to carry concealed weapons, various applications to manufacture and sell gas-ejecting devices and equipment, notice of revocation of concealed pistol license, and a basic pistol safety pamphlet and questionnaire.
