The Secretary of Education amended the Student Assistance General Provision regulation to require institutions of higher education to disclose information about its campus safety policies and procedures, and statistics concerning the occurrence of various crimes on campus. The regulations also make reference to sections which govern misrepresentation. The regulations apply to sex offenses, liquor law violations, drug abuse violations, motor vehicle theft, robbery, murder, aggravated assault, burglary, and weapons law violations.
