Abstract
The place of the police in Dutch government organization is reviewed, and the separation into the local and State police is discussed, including a detailed map of the district and local force locations. The water, airport, and traffic departments are described, and the central research office is highlighted. Uniform insignia are pictured, and weaponry is reviewed as are selection and training of police candidates. The cooperation between the Interior and Justice offices is detailed.
