This report summarizes programs that were funded by the Arkansas Juvenile Advisory Group in 1992, under the terms of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act.
Abstract
The programs are categorized as those dealing with contracted secure detention, electronic monitoring, emergency shelters/holdover facilities, home detention and house arrest, juvenile detention centers, juvenile justice public education, juvenile detention per diem subsidy project, juvenile justice training, and 72-hour secure detention. Each entry includes the name of the applicant, address, authorized official, program director, amount awarded, subgrant period, program title, and a brief program description, as well as area served. Many of the programs funded by the Advisory Group are intended to provide alternatives to incarceration for juvenile offenders.
