This book describes the experiences of a woman who was stalked and raped twice by the same man.
Abstract
The woman was attacked inside her house by a man who had been slightly acquainted with her ex-husband several years earlier. Despite his threat to kill her and her daughter, the victim reported the rape to the police, and the man was tried and eventually convicted. Seven years later, the man was released on parole, with no notification to the victim; he returned to once again rape and severely injure her. He was convicted of the second rape and is serving his sentence in a maximum-security prison; he will be eligible again for parole in 2005. His victim has assumed a new identity and lives in an undisclosed location, where she works for victim's rights.
