Abstract
This video contains comments by a victim of father-daughter incest, as well as comments by mothers/wives who had to address husband (father)-daughter incest in their families. The victim discusses the impact of the incest, which involves the loss of trust, anger toward the perpetrator, emotional detachment from sexual activity, low self-esteem, and a sense that their worth is only as a sexual object. The mother of the victim advises that the nonabusing parent must believe the child and seek immediate outside professional help, because the situation cannot be addressed within the family itself.
