Abstract
The 27 countries whose crime prevention structures and activities are described are Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bielorussia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Roumania, Russia, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. Although there is no standard format of information from each country, each report typically addresses statutory bases for crime prevention efforts in the country, crime prevention efforts at various governmental levels, general crime prevention programs, and crime prevention programs that target specific offenses. Other information includes the institutions, agencies, and persons (staff position) who are involved in crime prevention.
