This document presents the text of Oklahoma laws regarding privacy and security related to criminal history information and other types of records.
Abstract
Individual sections focus on the persons authorized to expunge records, the procedure for sealing and unsealing arrest and criminal records, the termination of a deferred prosecution records, records of the completion of a program and release or disclosure of information collected in connection with a deferred prosecution program. Other sections focus on the deferred judgment procedure, criminal procedures, the Oklahoma Open Records Act, market research and marketing plans of the Oklahoma Medical Center, records of receipts and expenditures, disclosure of law enforcement agency records, and confidentiality of personal notes and personally created material. Further sections focus on educational records, crop and livestock reports, records in litigation or investigation files, conditional discharges for possession of drugs as a first offense, and the powers and duties of the State Bureau of Investigation.
