Abstract
The statistics cover the reported national and total caseloads, selected caseload and processing measures for mandatory and discretionary cases, and opinions reported by State appellate courts in 1993. Additional data cover reported national and total civil and criminal caseloads, traffic and other violations, and juvenile caseloads in State trial courts. Filings, dispositions, and filing rates per judge and per 100,000 population are also provided. Methods of counting cases, reporting periods, and other methodological information are also provided.
