This document contains statistics on the total felon parolees returned to California prisons for calendar year 1994, and parolee and parolee-at-large population for calendar years 1972 through 1994.
Abstract
During 1994, 62,480 felon parolees were returned to prison, at a rate of 66.8 per 100 average daily parolee and parolee-at-large population. The rate was 57.9 for females and 67.7 for males. The rate of felon parolees returned to custody increased from 39.2 for 1993 to 48.6 for 1994. During calendar year 1994 the rate of felon parolees returned with a new term decreased to 18.2 from 21.1 during 1993. Tables
