The results showed that two subjects who suffered from schizophrenia had committed all their homicides in the hospital. Eleven subjects could be classified as type 2 alcoholics; they all had an onset of alcohol abuse or criminal behavior by the age of 20. These 11 subjects could be considered to suffer from serotonin metabolism dysfunction. Ten subjects were also diagnosed as having an antisocial personality. One subject was not considered responsible for his last offense because of major depression and was discharged from the hospital 1 year after recovery from depression. 1 table and 13 references
