The directory is designed to given local law enforcement agencies and residents ideas of successful problemsolving solutions that other communities have implemented. The five primary sections of the manual describe various citizen participation, residential, security/safety, school, and youth programs that have been initiated around the State. Each entry includes an overview, a list of components, and program objectives, as well as other features unique to that program, i.e., volunteer programs, special events, and campaigns. 6 appendixes
