The text explains what sexual abuse is and describes how it often affects teenagers who have been sexually abused. Throughout the workbook there are questions to answer and activities to help the victim of sexual abuse explore how she has been affected by that sexual abuse. The workbook is designed to be used by a therapist in individual or group therapy. Each of the 10 chapters in the workbook begins by giving information about a topic or issue related to sexual abuse. Then there are questions to answer to decide what this information has to do with the sexual abuse victim. At the end of each chapter are suggested activities including additional writing, art, reading, and discussion activities that can help the adolescent learn more about the chapter's topic.
