This report contains statistical information about services provided to the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) youths for fiscal years 1990 through 1992. ..ASBT: The primary source of data is a Information System for Youth Services, an on-line database for case tracking and management. A flow chart for case referrals for fiscal year 1992 is provided. Tables display the number and percentage of cases overall and of youths referred to intake by fiscal year and jurisdiction. The report is divided into four sections based on the DJS's four service delivery systems. These sections are Prevention and Diversion, Community Supervision, Residential Services, and Institutional Services. Each section provides a description of services provided and statistical information on the number of cases or youths served.
