Abstract
This special issue contains articles that raise and address a number of questions about violence and youth. Contributors to this issue were asked to frame questions of violence in ways that make clearer the various dimensions of these questions and that illustrate what can be and is being done to work with young people around the problem of violence. Also included are a selection of writings by youths, previously published only in small school-based papers, a national resource guide containing the names and addresses of organizations involved with violence and youth, editors' reviews, and book notes.
