This report summarizes the programs and services of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, with emphasis on advances in technological, research, and grants services provided to police agencies, legislators, users of criminal history record information, and others.
Abstract
The report describes services provided by groups receiving grants under the Federal Anti-Drug Abuse Act program; programs funded by the Anti-Drug Abuse Act and the Victims of Crime Act in Illinois; and the agency's authority as a statewide clearinghouse for statistics and other information about the criminal justice system.
