Abstract
OJP is comprised of the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Bureau of Justice Statistics, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, National Institute of Justice, and Office for Victims of Crime. Specifically, the guide describes comprehensive community-based initiatives; available training and technical assistance; opportunities for financial assistance through formula and discretionary grant programs; new programs being implemented under the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994; publications; and criminal and juvenile justice clearinghouses and resource centers. 1 appendix
