The first section focuses on the issue of multiculturalism and justice. Individual studies focus on hate propaganda and hate crime, multiculturalism and jury selection, barriers to legal education for first-generation immigrants, complaint and redress mechanisms relating to racial discrimination, legal problems faced by recent immigrants in Vancouver, and youth and adults in British Columbia's correctional facilities.
