The main objective of the Network is to make optimal the position of female police in the police agencies in Europe. Specific activities include training, information exchanges, a biannual conference and seminars, promotion of mutual support, advice and counseling, and public relations. The Network has issued publications, established the International Equal Opportunities Information and Documentation Center, published a quarterly newsletter, established networks within individual countries, produced a videotape, and held conferences.
